I always forget to take a before picture! this was another turtleneck that i bought for $2.99. I took this picture after i cut off the neck and sleeves (obviously) then I remembered to take a picture.
so then you will see below are the sleeves...
I turned them inside out and cut off the seam of the arms.
Then I cut 2 strips at 1.5 width and started to gather it.
Then I strategically place it on the collar of the shirt..oh yeah, I cut it into a v-neck.

And here we are. After I sewed on the ruffles I cut 2 strips 3 inches wide right in the middle then you just tie it into a bow!
Pretty cute don't you think? I actually really love it! Not too bad for $2.99 and it only took about 45 mins to make.
Thanks for looking!

Delila, this is adorable. I've had several turtlenecks, that I just gave away, I hate them, besides how practical they are when it's really cold, but otherwise, ewwww. I can hardly believe this used to be one.
ReplyDeleteI'd love if you linked this up. Stop by anytime to say hello!!!
