Sampler blocks and such...

I started sewing some blocks together from my new Sampler Quilt pattern and can I just say it was so H A R D!! It takes a lot of unpicking and if you don't get the measurements just right they will not line up. It is very time consuming. I have 28 more blocks to go!

Moving on to some holiday stitchery...
And here is another planner sleave from my book "One Yard Wonders"

And then I had some fabric sewn in strips from a while ago and figure I should make something out of it so I made this scrap bag. It catches all the scrap fabric so that I can keep it off the carpet.

Thanks for looking! Check out the other Sew n' Tells on AmyLouwho's Blog

  2. Lovely finishes this week. My first quilt was a sampler quilt and I remember it was hard to get some of the blocks all perfect but I learnt so much making that quilt so it was worth all the effort. Love the fabrics you've used on the scrap bag and that valentine picture is adorable!

  8. I love all your finishes. Gotta say you are going to nail your seams by the time you do 28 more blocks. Could be mentally exhausting though.
